Upon an initial examination, we can tell if Invisalign is right for you. If you are a candidate, your treatment plan is written and impressions of your teeth are taken and submitted to Invisalign. Invisalign carefully translates our instructions into a series of precisely customized aligners. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, moving your teeth, gradually—week by week, millimeter by millimeter—until you’ve achieved the intended result: straighter teeth. Generally, you visit us no more than you would with traditional metal braces and the length of treatment is about the same.

With years of dental experience and advanced training, Dr. Michele Simpson provides personalized care through orthodontics in Wilmington. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2001 and completed a general practice residency at York Hospital. Her continued education includes advanced dental care, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and laser treatments, allowing her to provide treatment options based on each patient's needs. Since opening Wilmington Smile Design Center in 2015, Dr. Simpson has remained committed to individualized care and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
